My @foxmtb x @bike_bridge Worlds helmet 🥰🥰🥰 So you probably wonder what’s Bike Bridge and why it’s on that helmet... here’s the explanation: As you maybe recognised I didn’t have a custom helmet for any race so far as I don’t have another sponsor on it. So we thought why not use this space at Worlds and raise awareness for a pretty cool social project that’s called Bike Bridge! This German project established in Freiburg i. Br. teaches women how to ride a bicycle. I know this might sound strange for you and so it did for me at first. But there are many women out there in Germany who never learnt to ride a bike properly, especially refugees... So Bike Bridge will teach them how to do that and with that empowers their role in the society. They become more mobile and independent! At the same time it’s a social place to connect and build friendships. Also learning how to fix a bike is part of the project. In particular I want to support @bikebridgeleipzig as it is there newest location and close to my hometown.
