Day 2 initial thoughts: 1. shout out to the friends who slid up on my story and tried to help/gave me advice and encouragement y’all are amazing!! 2. having the exposure down in the raw footage seemed to help prevent skin discoloration so that’s cool to know for the future especially in a sunny setting 3. figuring out how to color grade well when there are harsh shadow lines is interesting because if you go too far 1 way or the other way the parts of the frame in or outside of that shadow look crazy, I want to play around more with editing those parts specifically in separate key frames?? (Idk if that’s what it’s called) 4. still gotta watch another youtube video because I’m still confused about how to separate your skin from the rest of the shot so the color grading doesn’t effect it 5. this video still turned out a little grey for my liking so I gotta keep playing around with how I edit 6. I think I need to try DaVinci on my computer again because DANG my iPad kept lagging and the app would just close sometimes (I also need to clean up my storage, that very much could’ve been the problem) 7. content wise there were people having fun playing soccer but you couldn’t see them because I was so far away so next time I need to either goer closer or make a shift so it doesn’t look like I’m staring off into a random field😅 #davinciresolve #colorgrading #learning #video #sunset #driving #car #sunshine #videoediting
