Was going to take the day off today, but glad I didn’t. Strength was surprisingly through the roof, despite my collar bone giving me complications ever since my fall in June. Yea remember that? Apparently I really messed myself up on impact and never went to the doc 😅 I really should take my own advice. Got the 60s up for 3 sets of 9-12.5 reps. Yea, 12.5. Was shooting for 8, but then got 9, 10, 11, 12.... And a half. Why stop at 12 when there is a little left in the tank (without losing form). Attempt the 13th rep. Might surprise yourself. Might fail halfway thru. My philosophy: F*ck it. Try it. Don’t think too hard. Just go. If you get the rep, awesome. If you don’t get the rep, whatever. Maybe next time 🎉 **disclaimer: don’t take what I said and be an asshat with your form of course 😂 the extra rep isn’t worth it if there is massive overcompensation, or you are on the verge of rupturing a muscle.
