Kenya was awesome, I think my favorite country I’ve visited in East Africa. Nairobi was lively and right next to some amazing nature and parks - fulfilled a goal of seeing and petting baby elephants. However, Mombasa was probably my favorite single city I’ve visited in the whole region. Historic old town and walkable peaceful suburbs with quiet and clean beaches all along the Indian Ocean.
