On 7/17/21 in NYC, Than Htwe (58) plunged down a flight of subway stairs during a vicious mugging of her and her son. She sustained head trauma so severe that she wasn’t able to wake up. She underwent brain surgery and was intubated in a hospital bed. Tragically Than Htwe passed away and her family decided to donate her organs to those in need. The NYPD have IDed the perpetrator from surveillance footage as David Robinson. As of today the suspect is still on the loose. #thanhtwe (art and caption by @jdschang)
