How do I have time to create? I make time, I always tell people for me creativity is less about posting on instagram or even showcasing my outfits/makeup for me, it’s a way of life. It’s the way I express myself, that’s why it comes so naturally to me. I’ll never forget the quote “if you judge a fish on its ability to climb a tree then it will live its whole life thinking it’s stupid” This is what I’m good at, which is why I love doing it. It has healed so much within me to be able to do this as a career. Creating for me is never about the money, the fame or even the external validation. It’s about putting my mark in this world through inspiration, and being able to show people that art matters. In all forms. To be able to be an artist in today’s world is something I’m so proud of. 🎨 Side note: This year I also have been trying to be more intentional about responding to DMs and questions because my community matters a lot to me.
