Yes, I actually completed the 50K SheUltra in Wales yesterday and it was stunningly beautiful and #beautifullybrutal at the same time. 😅 I had not posted about it before because I hadn’t been able to really train for the past few weeks due to injuries and I honestly made the decision whether I would really do it at the last minute as I knew I was going to Wales with @angelaascott72 and @gscott7967 anyway. While Angela was kicking that ultra’s butt, I was just hoping to finish and eat as many snacks as possible in the process. 😆 But I am proud that I finished in a time that was well below the adjusted goal I had set for myself and am trying to not be too much in my head about it - if you know me you know that’s not an easy feat... 😉 Best feeling was seeing Angela and Glyn cheering me in at the finish line. 💚 This song came on towards the end and I had to chuckle cause I was definitely going the distance but NOT for speed. 😆 #sheultra #wales #ultrarunning
