back in 2020, @camcountry was one of the first artists to reach out when i started getting noticed around town. within two seconds of meeting on the phone, she asked me what i needed. she could see that i was becoming part of a pretty powerful movement swelling up in Nashville at the time, and she wanted to look out for me. i had always been a massive fan, but that day she became something, someone much more to me. so, singing Blackbiird with Cam this past wknd at the Ryman really hit my heart in a deep way. like in a heart to heart spiritual kind of way i can’t really explain. thanks for being you, Cam. it was an honor to be part of your special night 🫶🏾🌻
