Costa Smeralda extends from the areas of Pitrizza and Capo Ferro in the north, near the Strait of Bonifacio, to the area behind Rena Bianca beach in the south, near the Gulf of Cugnana. The entrances to the Costa Smeralda territory, along provincial roads 94 and 59, feature two famous granite rocks bearing the destination’s name and logo. Costa Smeralda covers a total area of 3,114 hectares, of which only 117 (3.7%) are occupied by private villas and infrastructures, and includes 55 kilometres of coastline.
