Before you sit down with someone you love to watch tonight’s Presidential debate, take a moment to pause and reflect that 23 years ago on this exact evening 3,000 people would be spending their last evening with their families. These families will never have the opportunity to watch a debate with their lost loved one again. Sit in that for as long as you need to in order to remember how you felt post 9/11. Our country was united, we were bonded over heartbreak and sadness.
