I’m 27 years old & have been pretty healthy my whole life - but on Saturday afternoon, I had a stroke while I was out on a boat in Cocoa Beach. There are no words to describe how terrifying this feeling was, all of a sudden I couldn’t speak and wasn’t able to tell anyone what was wrong. Thankfully I was with friends who saw the signs & immediately rushed me to the hospital. I had immediate surgery removing the blood clot in my brain and it was successful 🥹 This is currently my 4th day in the ICU in Melbourne, and we still don’t have exact answers as to why this happened yet. But I’m in really good hands here and can currently speak, move & walk on my own which is seriously SUCH a miracle. I just wanted to thank you all for the sweet messages, calls, texts & gifts.
