Macey turns 4 🦖🌞🐛 You were born at 11:40 at night, it was a cold Sunday. After 7 hours of labor and 3 big pushes, out you came and I pulled you up onto my chest. As soon as I laid you on my chest, you stopped crying, eyes open, so calm, so alert. Then at about 30 seconds old, you smiled as I held you. It’s my happiest, purest, most surreal and most organic memory. A memory I will always cherish. Happy birthday my sweet boy…the dreamiest, happiest, purest little boy I have ever known. We love you, our sunny boy! I really wanted to name him, Sunny, but I was vetoed by my husband. And to this day it’s an on going joke that we should have named him Sunny because he is truly the embodiment of light and warmth and joy. We still call him sunny boy or sunshine and it’s the perfect nickname🌞✨
