1of3. hi there. its been a minute.. . the past two months of my life have been a whirlwind of world exploration & self-discovery. i traveled through europe and found the city i will next call home, caught up with friends i hadn’t seen in over a decade / made innumerable new friendships that I expect will last a lifetime, and for the first time attended what i can only imagine to be the most spectacular annual human gathering in contemporary history . at the beginning of this trip i remember feeling an uncomfortable pressure to document everything i was experiencing and post it on instagram. something held me back. gradually the pressure dissipated, and i grew more aware of the benefit of being unconcerned with social media. each new experience and human encounter was lived for the sake of the present moment, not documented in order to prove to the world that it happened. . i realize there can be a balance between moments lived and shared - there are plenty of creatives that have found that balance and inspire me on a daily basis. as a professional photographer a platform such as instagram is indispensable. i plan to do my best to tread the line between being the moment and sharing it, so i can in turn hope to inspire others as well.. . much love to all the amazing people that made my european travels what they were 🙏🏼 @salredpath, @badmash1996, @siana_k_p, @jeanie_s_gibbs_, @niyiolopade, @grace__gibson, @tabeahberler, @seankochtrio, @ju.leon, @stacyyama, @ditapio, @robcconnor, THE TEAMSHEET @jessefayne @will5rolfe @jackthompson303, et bien sûr mr. @kpillot77 . . #burningman #burningman2017
