Stem cells are known for being an ultra-advanced, super expensive, and controversial biohacking procedure. That’s changing at lightning speed. Not too long ago, most people who wanted stem cell treatments had to go overseas. Now, there are stem cell clinics all over the U.S., and regenerative medicine, the science behind tissue repair, is solidifying into an accepted medical discipline.
Here are five myths about stem cell procedures:
1. They’re unethical: While there are some places around the world that may have some sketchy practices, Docere clinics’ procedures are completely ethical and legal.
2. They’re painful: During stem cell procedures, you are usually deeply sedated and do not feel or remember a thing.
3. They aren’t accessible: Stem cell procedures are becoming more and more accessible, and very soon, you’ll be able to get them for even cheaper. Docere clinics also offers a tithing program for those who are financially in need to potentially be eligible for stem cell therapy in exchange for community service.
4. They don’t work: Some reported benefits of stem cell therapy include pain relief, feeling younger and more flexible, and improved cognitive function.
5. They’re a “miracle cure”: While many have found relief from chronic pain and injuries from stem cell procedures, they won’t work for everyone. Make sure to get a comprehensive consult before diving in.
