Even if you can’t get in for this version, here’s an Afternoon Tea with a relaxed atmosphere, delicate brews by @hopeandglorytea, well-filled sandwiches, creative and incredibly tasty pastries and fancies, and three types of scones. Yes that’s right, you can have warm and freshly baked plain, raisin and *chocolate chip* scones, served with jam, clotted cream and a salted caramel sauce. The spooky lemon meringue cake, blood orange log, chocolate chip scones and classic sandwiches were the highlights for me! Staff are really friendly and attentive, and happily refilled all our food and tea (Tip: just ask and they’ll refresh extra helpings!), including kindly packing up anything we couldn’t finish!
