I wanted to go hard on the geometry elements for him, symbolic of his power as he’s our version of Zeus/Odin. And while we didn’t want him to have any armpit yet, we did want the costume to have that feel to it. I had some inspiration from Eiko Ishioka’s Dracula armor as well as the a bit of Issey Miyake’s shapes with the feeling of origami giving way to his armor-like clothing. . This costume was especially time intensive for my team with all of the intricate seams, fabric pleating and custom leather work. And @lukemitchell17 is the most patient human on this earth, as we fit every little bit and layer to make sure it all laid perfectly on him. .
