We headed down to the Carolee Schneemann exhibition at @barbicancentre ❤️ The exhibition is open now and runs until the 8th January 2023. Curator Lotte Johnson took us through the exhibition, an exploration of Schneemann's diverse, transgressive and interdisciplinary work over six decades. The exhibition positions Schneemann as one of the most relevant, provocative and inspiring artists of the last century who's work focuses on pl3asure, the objectification and oppression of women, mortality and more.
