On May 5th, I opened a notebook with a goal: write a novel during the summer. I went in blind, having no idea what this journey would look like. 1 notebook, 3 comprehensive story boards, 72,000 words, and 300 pages later I have completed the first manuscript of “Dear Jesus: From, A Pharisee.” This historical fiction follows a Pharisee, Marcus, who is on the hunt for Jesus of Nazareth, determined to verify for himself if Jesus is in fact the Christ, the Messiah. There’s action, drama, history, geography, theology, and philosophy, featuring many (but not too many) characters from our beloved Gospels. The journey has just begun... Onward
