My official @applemusic Behind The Boards playlist is now available 🎧 Story Time... Full circle moments 🔁 In a past life, I worked in @apple’s corporate office as a channel marketing specialist for @beatsbydre. It was a role I was grateful for, but ultimately wasn’t passionate about. It paid the bills and taught me some important lessons about business, relationships, & advocating for myself. It also connected me with some friends & mentors that I now consider family. In 2014, Apple Music moved into our office. Uninspired by my channel marketing role at Beats, I’d find any excuse to wander to the @applemusic wing of the building & chop it up with their eclectic staff of curators and music heads. Shortly after moving in, @applemusic launched their “Behind The Boards” producer playlist series, highlighting the top music producers in the world. I distinctly remember daydreaming about having my own playlist in this series one day, but didn’t really believe it was possible to pivot from being a corporate headphone marketing dude to a full time music creative.
