A off-grid escape in Vermont 🪵 🌲 ☕️ Back in April, @cassidymariejohnson gifted me the perfect birthday present for the summer. A stay at the Nulhegan Hut through @vermonthuts in the NEK, where sleeping bags are encouraged, headlamps are required, and WiFi doesn’t exist. We sipped delicious coffee in the morning next to the fire, had a lantern lit dinner on the porch as rain tapped on the roof, read until our eyelids got heavy, and dreamed up future plans as we cooled off in the river. While we were there for just 2 nights, it was the change of pace I needed more than I knew.
