Closed Blanket Stitch skeleton ☠️ Imagine you had X-ray vision and could see through your @bellamihairpro volume weft. Halfway through this video I’m showing you exactly what your needle and thread are doing to give you nice clean stitches without the weft in the way! Keep watching! Keep in mind: this skeleton stitch is only for demo purposes and NEVER is stitched without a weft in place over your beaded foundation. Executing a CLOSED blanket stitch involves a handful of easy tweaks that will give you a stitch that holds itself in place while you work. First of all - you will start your weft on the same side as your dominant hand. I’m right handed so my sewing will start on the right. Then it’s ✖️ across ✖️ behind ✖️ through ✖️Pull the thread ACROSS your weft ✖️Pass your needle BEHIND the thread and weft ✖️ always THROUGH the loop you’ve created Pull your thread taught upward. Then do it again and again and again. In this video I worked with a neon green thread so you can see what I’m doing really well.
