The Ranch is pleased to announce "Noel de Lesseps: The End," a solo presentation of landscape paintings by Noel de Lesseps in the West Barn Dining Room. de Lesseps’s paintings forge imaginary landscapes both familiar and otherworldly, sparse yet densely enlivened. Informed by the East End and Switzerland, where the artist grew up, the central composition, "The fork and the sea" (2022), constellates a world that ripples into ravines of meandering time and narrative pockets populated by a motley cohort of animals, mythological creatures, protagonists, monsters, and celestial bodies.
