New Messy Merch Drop! I got sent a DM a couple months ago from a nurse who said she wears her Messy Mondays shirt at the hospital--in case there's ever someone who might recognize it they can know she's a safe space. One day a young patient came in expressing suicidal thoughts. In checking the patient in the nurse discovered they were misgendered on their chart. The nurse asked the patient's pronouns and updated it. The patient recognized the Messy Mondays shirt and through tears asked the nurse if she was a "Messy Patron" and they began to watch and laugh at old videos together. I don't think I've cried so hard at a damn DM. When I was 13 I attempted to take my life. I felt so deeply alone. As an adult, as an artist, as a content creator my intention is to make others feel less alone. It is sacred to me that I get to be part of such an incredible community of folx who believe in joy, inclusion, and liberation. A community who remain curious and open-hearted. A community that values the wholesome and the heauxsome. Getting to share in a space like that has expanded me beyond anything I could imagine. I'm so honored that our "Messy Mondays" represents safety, joy, and love. Y'all been asking for more merch drops so, I partnered with @avidapparel to make it happen, starting with the essentials.
