Before heading off on location for #thebraid i knew i had to be strong for a really grueling filming schedule in order to film right on the heels of @greysabc. So i had to get mentally and physically ready. I have to say this re-launch of mine of getting back in shape, was hard to get started. Like the first day back it was physically hard and like, in tears hard....Maybe it was lockdown Covid days of staying in my pajamas, maybe it was injuries i have to manage as well as post Covid lock down and asking myself “Do i really need to work out?” Or maybe it was burn out.... I do know, I’ve always been someone who has been doing something whether it was Ballet as a kid, Crew in high school & college, running, soul cycle, yoga...you name it...until i hit a wall and was like “who the hell needs to work out!” Well, i do! While coming back was excruciating I’m feeling like I’m on the other side (for now) and what i know is i ALWAYS feel better after i work out! Mentally and physically!! So there y’a have it! Encouraging you all to just move your body, sweat it out, find an accountability partner and get at it! 💜💪😘 Thanks @maliberryy for your patience, encouragement, talent and keeping me on track! And @tracyandersonmethod for making me sweat and Dance it out! #workout
