9 months in, 9 months out 🥹 For as long as I can remember, I always fantasised of being a mom. What would her little head smell like? What would her voice sound like? Her giggles? I imagined myself stroking those fluffy baby hairs. (I can literally feel them looking at these photos haha!). And wondered what it would feel like holding a tiny person that knows and trusts you more than anything. Much of this first year of motherhood is exactly how I imagined it to be - and just as much is different. It’s been beautiful, vulnerable, empowering, messy, funny, hard, sweet, exhausting, joyful, a privilege and one of my biggest teachers. All I really know for sure is I will try my best every day to make Izzy feel loved, just the way she is. #babygirl #motherhood
