Being your mother is humbling, beautiful, challenging, vulnerable, raw, intense, courageous, joyful, full of wonder and laughter and magic... and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. It is also new country, an undoing of self, a stripping away, so full of unknowns and uncertainty... but I still wouldn’t trade it for anything.
