Applications are open for the 2022 RE:Her Academy, a new ***$20,000 grant and education program*** for ten women-identifying food and beverage entrepreneurs. We announced the Academy last week, and we’re inspired to see women all over LA sending in their applications! The applications will be evaluated by our independent Selection Committee - a generous group of volunteers, all experts in hospitality & business. The committee is proudly led by Kimberly Velazco, chef/owner and purveyor of the BEST gumbo in the West at @alices_southern_comfort Kimberly’s career also includes 20+ years in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors. Hilton Foundation ***** Following on the success of our 2021 COVID-19 Relief Grants, and with increased funding thanks to our partner @doordash the RE:Her Academy will provide ten cash grants of $20,000 each to women-identifying hospitality business owners, which recipients can use for business growth.
