#midnightbandmonday In a deep storage dive this weekend, I decided to pull my Midnight Band LP for the listening room. I noticed it was signed generically by @brian__jackson to someone. I thought how cool!! Then a photo from the show fell out of the jacket and I realized it was to me and that was my photo. Also caught a signature from the great GSH. Just one of many memories of those early inspirational Rise shows in LA headed by Carlos Niño. This show was hosted by @abbeyrizzle and I’ll never forget him belting out “please join me in welcomening!” Which gave me Public Enemy vibes. Plus @djprincepaul was DJing before the performance. Historic night!
