In 2021, 104,000 public school students were homeless, 5,500 of them unsheltered. I uplifted them at the New York State Assembly majority’s Committee on Social Services’ public hearing last week, as I advocated for statewide AIDS housing. We have to hold complexities to legislate. #EndHomelessness
