I wish I had taken the chance to tell you that there is no mountain woman I have ever looked up to, as much as you. You, one of the brightest of lights, your reach of inspiration, as a mother, an athlete, as a woman, as a human, as an all encompassing badass, has cracked open hearts on and off the mountains; tears witnessed through words and stories the past few days breathe this. Your impact momentous and monumental. Thank you for paving the way for so many of us. I know that what you’ve done, a beacon of joy, of compassion, of humility, of grit, of resilience, which appeared to come so naturally, will reverberate forever.
