Watch how I treat a laser burn. Essentially this is a superficial wound and I think it happened because I’ve been on holiday and my skin is darker. This can happen sometimes, also skin on the neck is much thinner so it’s a likely place for a burn to happen. It actually looks worse than it is and I know this won’t scar if I look after my skin properly. My main goal is to keep my skin hydrated and protected so I’m using @aquaphorus Healing Ointment liberally. It does the business on irritated skin and burns. I’d say this time next week, my skin would be fully healed and in a few weeks any hyperpigmentation would fade. If you get a burn, make sure you discuss with your practitioner, but just goes to show complications can happen even when you’re careful.
