Oh I just hate it when someone I’ve always admired and/or thought was fabulous is revealed to be an asshole. Or even worse, a bigot. As a funny chubby kid growing up in the 1970s I idolized John Belushi. But the moment I heard female cast members of SNL reveal that he was, in fact, a small-minded misogynist who didn’t think women were funny (AND would deliberately undermine and tank sketches written by women by mumbling his lines during table reads) I thought “Fuck him” and immediately removed his sorry ass from my list of heroes. If you watch this amazing new documentary Donyale Luna: Superstar on @hbomaxes you will understand why I am now saying “Fuck Diana Vreeland.” 🖕🏾 FUCK DIANA VREELAND! 👎🏾
