From Dek island in the heart of Lake Tana in Ethiopia, which is the source of 85% of the Nile water, which reaches Egypt through the Blue Nile to the Tes Abai Waterfalls, from which the Nile journey begins from Ethiopia to Egypt to the small streams of water along the road which comes all together in the end to the Blue Nile branch,and along the way seeing women and children who spend at least an hour a day to fill water in the Jerry Cans for their daily needs. I was able to see the Nile on a journey that I started from the source three years ago, passing by Sudan and reaching Egypt. A journey that has begun in a very critical and tensioned time , but I still haven't finished, Happy Nile Day. من جزيرة دك في قلب بحيرة تانا في أثيوبيا واللي هي مصدر ٨٥٪ من مياة النيل اللي بتوصل لمصر عن طريق النيل الازرق لشلالات اباي واللي منها بتبدا رحلة النيل لمصر من اثيوبيا لمجاري المياه الصغيرة على طول الطريق اللي بتتجمع في الاخر عشان تصب في فرع النيل الازرق، للستات و الاطفال الصغيرين اللي بيقضوا يوميا مالايقل عن ساعه عشان يملوا مياة لاحتياجاتهم في اليوم، قدرت اشوف النيل بشكل تاني في رحلة ابتديتها من المنبع مرورا بالسودان ووصولا لمصر رحلة ابتدت في وقت صعب وظروف معقدة بس لسة مخلصتش يوم نيل سعيد #egypt #ethiopia #sudan #nile #nileriver #water
