HAPPY BIRTHDAY @sweatandtonic Here’s a short love letter to you and the Sweat Fam, Sweat and Tonic is more than a gym, more than a fitness studio, we are HOME, we are FAMILY. This space and community changed my life, and so many others. I’m so lucky to have found you. 3 years ago around this time, I was living my first months out of my home country, alone, no friends, no family, no where I felt like I belonged. One random day, I walked through yonge, and I saw you, went to my first class, and it felt like I found my place. I auditioned to be a ride instructor and after the answer wasn’t what I hoped for, I decided to keep working hard, even though it took me 10 times to audition, I finally made it, and from there, life feels like a dream… I’m so lucky to wake up every day knowing I’ll see all of you, old friends, new friends, and that we’ll get to move together, we get to share moments, memories, songs, smiles, sweat, tears… you give me the opportunity to be myself everyday, through my music, my style, the way we move, how we get stronger, day by day, class by class. I can’t wait to celebrate your birthday number 10,15,20 and still do Fuego Tuesdays, Fuego Fridays, Latin Vibes, Pop Divas, Lady Gaga Ride, you name it… Cheers to you and the Sweat Fam.
