From board and batten, shiplap, wainscoting or slat walls, we’ve done it all. Or number one tip for making your wood feature look perfect? Caulking! By caulking all seams, you create a seamless finish that makes your wood feature look perfect! Our process for wood features goes a little like this: Do one coat of paint on wall Add wood feature of choice (glue and nails!) Putty all holes Sand putty smooth Caulk all edges. Where boards meet boards and where the seams meet the wall. Remember to use paintable caulking! Do second coat of paint Admire! Have you done a wood wall feature in your house?
