I love taking this time to reflect on what I'm grateful for. I'm grateful for #teachers. This is Kim. I've been her ballet student for 32 years. I started dancing with her at the age of 3 and continued into highschool. After decades, whenever I'm in my hometown, I seek her out in hopes of dancing together again. This last visit to my home town, I had the joy of sharing my title and the crown with her and the class. I remember being one of those students in that exact same dance studio 20 years ago. I told them about my story - dancing there, moving to LA, working in film and now living in Europe with my own production company. I got to see their eyes glisten with hope as I stood before them, an example that anything is possible. I talked with Kim and told her she is one of the best teachers I've ever had. It's because of her that my love for dance continues to this very day. She's the reason I've gotten to tour the world performing and doing what I love. She gave me a tool of expression...
