BAKED APPLE PIE OATS Oats, apples, cinnamon + all the warmth. Meal prepping my breakfast for the week. Recipe by @joybauer -----> https://joybauer.com/healthy-recipes/apple-pie-baked-oatmeal/ <-------- 🄣 Ingredients (makes 6 servings) • 2 cups rolled oats (old‐fashioned) • (I added 1/4 cup protein powder) • 1 teaspoon baking powder • 1½ teaspoons ground cinnamon • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt • 2 chopped apples - I kept the peel on • 1.5 cups milk (dairy or plant‐based) • 1 single serve vanilla yogurt • 1/4 cup sugar free syrup • 2 large eggs • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract • 2 tsp. cinnamon • 1 tablespoon chia seeds *optional • 1/4 chopped walnuts āø» šŸ”„ Instructions 1. Preheat oven to ~ 350 °F 2. In a bowl, combine oats, baking powder, protein powder, cinnamon, and salt and chia seeds if using. 3. Stir in the chopped apples (reserve a few pieces for topping if you like). 4. In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, yogurt and vanilla. 5. Pour the wet mixture over the oat/apple mixture and stir gently to combine. 6. Transfer to a greased 8x8 baking dish and sprinkle nuts on top. 7. Bake for ~ 45-50 minutes, until the top is set and lightly golden. 8.
