Hello Oscura Coffee Family. 🍊 We have some bittersweet news for our coffee community. You might want to sit down. As we have grown and changed we have made the very difficult decision of retiring our daytime coffee program on December 21. 📆 We had all the hopes and intentions that the two programs could grow together but it hasn’t been the case. We haven’t stopped loving coffee and the community it creates, we just simply can’t do it all in this space anymore. Over the last few years, Oscura has changed and grown into a thriving music scene and venue. To make sure we have the ability to continue to grow we need to focus all of our attention to that part of our organization. As we reimagine what the next few years look like for us, creating and contributing to the independent music scene is our future. As we make the full transition to becoming a music hall and non-profit program with the Friendly City Foundation, we are excited to put more time and attention on supporting local musicians, artists, and creatives in our community. Who knows, maybe coffee will come back to us someday in a new place. We won’t say no if it’s the right place and right time. ☕️🤷‍♀️ ‼️Join us this weekend as we celebrate our coffee retirement with all of the people we love.
