Christmas Eve❤️ Feels so bizarre being in CA on Christmas. no family or anyone around. just the two of us in our little apartment trying to make it special. It is a really special time as we await the arrival of our daughter and are forced not to travel, but nonetheless it’s sad because we have never not celebrated with our families in Indiana at Christmas time. We are reminded of the calling God has on our lives and the reason we are here in California. Our why is easy. God called us here. It’s easy to question why during these times but we know it’s where we are supposed to be in this season. We woke up today and were like it’s Christmas Eve. This feels so weird. It really puts things in a new perspective for me this year. I’ve been grieving for people all around me. Those who don’t have family or friends around, those who are hurting, lonely, grieving loved ones, or going through something this holiday season. I’ve been so in tune with that this year, I see it all around me. If the holidays aren’t a happy time for you, just know you aren’t alone and your so so so loved❤️ Here’s a little Christmas virtual hug from our growing family to yours!
