Happy Saturday Family!!! After being out of town this past week, I made it back home to #DC to attend an Event @MGMNationalHarbor . I was invited by my Friend Renee Allen, @thepeoplesemcee to attend the Americans Veterans Ball!! When I Accepted the Invitation, I didn't know much about the organization but after reading up on their Mission, I was Ecstatic that I Attended!! The American Veterans Ball (AVB) was designed to provide veterans of “ALL” the Armed Forces the opportunity to participate in an annual event that creates a pathway to Reignite, Connect with, and Maintain Patriotism with their fellow Brothers and Sisters for years to come. It's a Celebration Saluting and Honoring Past, Present, and Future #Veterans that have Passed, or who are Currently Living. The Organization is open to “ALL” veterans (active, reserves, separated, or retired), along with their guest and the general public. Having a #Father and #Uncle, who have both Passed, and Served in the #USArmy, being at this event was one that pulled at my Heart Strings and was One I was Delighted to have been Introduced to. Once I entered The Ballroom, that was Patriotically Decorated, I was apart of a Meet and Greet Session Amongst Friends and Several Guest, before sitting down to a three course Meal. While Dinner was being served, I was In Awe over the Military and Musical Program that the Producers had planned for the Evening!! EVERY Branch of the Military was Recognized with Musical Tributes, Marches, Video Tribute, Guest Speakers, Patriotic Poems and The Surprises Kept on coming!!! They even had a Raffle where They gave away MANY high end Gifts!!
