Let me know in the comments 👇🏼 You all know how much I love brooches, collecting the most extravagant ones has been a guilty pleasure of mine for as long as I remember, I find them so fascinating! I recently had a lovely dinner with a judge and when I brought up the brooch conversation (as you do) she thought I was calling her old-fashioned. 😂 Of course that’s never the case and we went on discussing the collection of UK Supreme Court's head Brenda Hale - the rest is history! Chaumet had done an outstanding job with the creation of their brooches. Worn traditionally on the heart side, or casually on the rolled-up sleeve of a shirt, each tattoo brooch represents an evocative scene with passionate messages. Picturing barely veiled sky, turquoise dialogues with diamonds depicting clouds, a seagull or an albatros, the Maison has transformed the symbols traditionally tattooed on sailors into precious unisex brooches. This brooch is my favourite amongst the rest, perfect for my upcoming trip to the sea - a piece I would hold on to without second thoughts 🤩 The sea looks as if it might gush out of the brooch once the anchor is dropped, and propelled by a tailwind, a two-masted boat embodies the inscription on its rolled-up banner, “L’amour est une aventure” (“Love is an adventure”) 💘 Truly a witty and outspoken collection!
