Soppy post alert 🚨so if ur not into that jazz pls feel free to skip lol xo So 2022 festival season has officially wrapped for me and I feel like it absolutely flew by. Taking a bit of time to reflect back on the last few months or so has made me realise how far forward I’ve come in my journey as a photo snappa in this crazy industry since I’ve started. Over the last couple of years I’ve made it my absolute life’s bloody purpose to work as hard as I possibly can, take as many opportunities as possible and never take anything for granted in order to push myself forwards. This summer I think I definitely doubled down on that, working 13 festivals, a few charity events, hosting a work experience student and taking on a few of my largest projects yet 🥴 I’ve met some absolutely insanely talented photographers who have been not only friends, but also incredible mentors (whether they realise it or not) and this has really helped me to improve on my work, learn new techniques and more importantly, take steps to start to create a bit of a better work life balance. Life for the last few months has been non stop and after finally stopping for a few days to look back (cheers covid), it’s actually insane how different my life and future is now, even when I just compare it to the beginning of the year. I feel a little bit like I’m starting to live my dream (although I sound like a massive cliche) and I hope the 17 year old version of me, working on a fish counter with no idea what he wanted to do as a career would be proud ✨😂 If I’ve worked with you at all this year in any capacity at all, I just want to say thank you for the advice, opportunities, redbulls, hugs, cheeky pints, snacks and kindness 💖 Really looking forward to what’s ahead, Here’s to festival season 2023! ✨ - - - #musicphotography #musicphotographer #festivalseason #festivals #gigphotography
