Today meant a lot to me on so many levels, it was my very first runway show for Selkie- i felt this was the right next step for the brand, but it was also an incredible feat after my loss of Wildfox. It’s taken a long road to get here, I didn’t know if I’d be able to do brand number two- how I’d pull it off, or how/if I could be successful again all on my own, the doubt and losses... but today I felt like crying with relief. You can rebuild, you can start over, no matter the hardships, it is possible. I was reminded why I named this brand Selkie... I really feel that I’ve been freed, I have my skin back, and I’m floating on the water.
