WERBUNG Wait for it though... 😁 Instead of seeing something that didn’t work as a failure, try to see it as part of the learning process. The body and your mind only learns by taking action and trying. Failing at something means you are one step further and you have evaluated what didn’t work for you. So you adjust. And step forward. I really do believe everything (ok almost!!) is possible with time and practice. Trust the process. You can do it. As for this jump to crow pose from down dog: the biggest help for me is to think to keep the hips LOW. You don’t want to catapult your hips up and forward through the room. šŸ˜… (Unless of course you are very familiar with a tuck handstand and slowly lowering to crow ;)) Otherwise stay low, bend the arms generously- think chaturanga, and grip the mat. It’s easier to land when you bring the knees outside of the arms slightly, then squeeze them inward and together to get a better hold on your arms. Don’t just try once, try a few times in a row to make the body feel familiar with the movement. As you can see, I had quite a few learning experience before this one worked out today. (As for fear, I practiced this with a cushion in front of me when I first started!!) It’s finally the first day of #alonvacay and we have a fiery theme today.
