#ad #ClaritinPartner It’s time to #getoutside, use your imagination, and create a found object self-portrait! With this activity, you and your family will explore your own backyard (or park!) and allow kids to express themselves while doing so. First, you will need a piece of recycled cardboard or paper along with markers, crayons or any drawing materials. Next, it’s time to explore! Walk around your backyard space and gather an array of items to help with your self-portrait. Try twigs for hair, leaves for earrings, and even rocks for eyes. Once you arrange your found items, use your imagination to draw in the blanks. Remember, it does not have to look perfect. I love creating abstract art. I can’t wait to see your portraits – tag me and @OutsideologistProject when you share! Stay tuned for more #Outsideologist fun and visit @OutsideologistProject for more inspiration that will help you and your family enjoy the wonder of the outdoors. #GetOutside
