WEAR the damn underwear! You don’t have to be a certain weight. Your body doesn’t have to be a certain shape. And you don’t have to be wearing a certain size. You deserve to NOW! I wasted YEARS of my life thinking my body had to look a certain way before I could wear nice underwear, whether it was for myself or a partner. I’d spend hours putting the most gorgeous sets into my online basket only to never buy them, in my head this type of underwear was reserved ONLY for a certain body! “I’ll buy them when I lose x” I told myself, when I’m ‘more toned’ and thinner. Growing up seeing Victoria Secrets models and RELENTLESS perfect images in the media of women I would never look like, it made me feel so insecure in nice underwear! When I thought of my rolls, stretch marks and cellulite, I thought these things needed to be HIDDEN, not on display, so I felt embarrassed whenever I tried anything on. I had resigned myself to shapewear until I started to realise I don’t need to wait until I’m a certain size or shape, I don’t need to hide my body, because underwear is for EVERYbody! Despite what we’ve been conditioned to believe, you DO NOT have to look a certain way to feel empowered in your body and you DO NOT have to look a certain way to embrace intimate moments with your partner. Body fat, stretch marks and cellulite are completely NATURAL human parts of our incredible bodies, never be embarrassed of something that is completely normal. You are worthy of embracing your body, REGARDLESS of your weight, size or shape! You are worthy of every intimate moment, with yourself AND your partner! And you deserve to wear ALL the things you want to wear in this beautiful life of yours, EXACTLY as you are 💗✨
