'Pakistan’s Climate Change Heroes' is a book and film series that aims to spark a new dialogue around climate change issues, while profiling climate change heroes who have made it their life’s ambition to save our land. Ep. 4 Chitral Over the years, the frequency and scale of flooding in Chitral has increased at an alarming rate. Deforestation, overgrazing, and hunting have all contributed to extreme weather conditions, resulting in mass migration from the region. In the film, we see how activists Asif Murad and Rehmat Ali Dost are working in Chitral towards preserving the environment, raising awareness amongst young people as to how to deal with the consequences of climate change and developing a better understanding of environmental conservation.
