If you were one of those people this weekend wondering why are all these slabs and car clubs getting together for. It wasn’t just “car clubs” it was friends, family, a community coming together with the help of other city car clubs have a louder voice and show people what our culture is about. It wasn’t just because of someone complaining about the “car club” it’s about respecting and educating yourself. Before you build a big ass building somewhere because it’s “cheap” and complain about something that has been going on for years EDUCATE YOURSELF!!!! WE WERE HERE FIRST. It’s way more than this. This isn’t the only problem colliding with our culture. Growing up on the east side I’ve experienced many Sundays with my family at Chicano Park. Yesterday I got to stand up for what I believe in, our culture, my family & most importantly to me my uncles.
