Beautiful Ladakh, some of my photographs from the trip //except the last one where I finally learned how to reflect for @avani.rai @smritikiran 😅 Back at my desk in the city, I am still processing the apparent as well as subtle learnings from this trip. What stands out is that the simplest aspects of our day-to-day existence can have the biggest impact on our lifestyles. Watching the locals spin their prayer wheels for good karma, greet strangers with warmth, and infuse modern life with soulful tradition felt like being let in on the secret to happiness at the top of the world. From the food, to its approach to beauty, to even how the locals speak with just one word,“Julley,” (which is hello, goodbye, and thank you) Ladakh is truly the land where simplicity brings joy to life.
