This triplex, a converted series of former artists’ studios overhauled by Workshop/APD (@workshopapd), has a particular feature that’s almost an anomaly in New York’s Upper West Side: two foyers. The one pictured here is specially designed for visitors and guests—the family enters through a separate foyer—with a floating @simonjohnsdesign console that hangs over a slatted wall that soars upward in tandem with a spiral staircase.
